RealWeather is a personal business. If you are considering a custom forecast, just give me, Susan Genett a call. I established RealWeather in Newport (RI) ten years ago to work with yachtsmen, aviators, balloon pilots or anyone needing service on a one-to-one basis. We're a small, quick-responding outfit, and I plan to keep it that way. Custom weather forecasting doesn't lend itself to inflexible, large-scale operations, but it's exciting work. Well, it's actually play, but we have to charge for it!

RealWeather combines cutting edge technology with over a decade of advanced meteorological experience to specialize custom forecasts that help a client meet a specific goal, whether it's to sail across an ocean, compete in an aviation race, film a movie or plan an expedition. A custom forecast for each of these various activities seems like a bit of a stretch, downright tricky in fact. But, actually, these efforts are somewhat simpler than general forecasts one hears on public media because in those instances the forecaster can never be quite sure about the client's level of comprehension. Thus, a broadbrush approach is about the only way to go, whereas detailed, client-tailored forecasts treat the time frames and areas specified by the customer, who can request additional interpretation, should it be needed.

RealWeather is for real people. Our clients include adventurers, and the sponsors and managers of events, and enterprises worldwide. Safety is a prime element in our work. Thorough, creative planning is another: often in the course of planning we develop weather options and strategies that can give you a winning edge during your race or event. A progression of forecasts ~ wind direction, speed and other weather elements ~ is provided as your activity proceeds. Give me a call and I'll be pleased to discuss a custom weather forecast with you.
